Modern Slavery Statement

Statement for the financial year ending 2026 — published 6 October 2026

This statement is made pursuant to section 54 of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015. It sets out the steps Bumble & Bear takes to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking do not take place in our business or supply chains.

Our business

Bumble & Bear is a UK-based online retailer specialising in plush toys and gifts, sold directly to consumers through bumblebear.shop.

Our commitment

We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery, forced labour, child labour and human trafficking in any form. We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings.

Our supply chains

Our products are sourced from third-party manufacturers and suppliers. We expect every supplier to:

  • Comply with all applicable labour laws, including those relating to minimum working age, working hours, wages and safe working conditions.
  • Prohibit forced, bonded, trafficked or child labour in any part of their operations or supply chains.
  • Allow workers to raise concerns freely and without fear of retaliation.

Due diligence

We assess new suppliers before working with them, favour suppliers who can demonstrate responsible labour practices and relevant product safety certifications, and review our supplier relationships on an ongoing basis. Where concerns are identified, we work with the supplier to remediate them or end the relationship.

Training & awareness

Everyone involved in sourcing and buying for Bumble & Bear is expected to understand the risks of modern slavery and to report any concerns immediately.

Looking ahead

We will continue to strengthen our due diligence as our business grows, and we will review and update this statement annually.
